- A User can conduct two different types of Searches in Casenoter:-
- WorldLii Search
- Casenoter Search
- A WorldLii Search is a Search for Case Law from a selected WorldLii data base:-
- AustLII
- BaiLII
- A User conducts a WorldLii Search on the selected data base – AustLII or BaiLII – Window created within Casenoter for the purpose of conducting the WorldLii Search.
- A User can conduct a Casenoter Search – for Content contained on any of the following:-
- My Work Centre
- My Binders
- My Matters
- Shared with me
- Libraries:-
- My Library
- A Group Library
- The Global Library.
- A Casenoter Search is a Search of all Casenoter Content – Case Extracts, Saved Searches, Case Links, WorkPads and WorkDocs.
- A Casenoter Search searches all of the Content Attributes:-
- Name of the Content
- Description of the Content
- Keywords created by the User relevant to the Content
- Areas of Law, Legal Topics and Keywords selected by the User from the Casenoter Topic Tree.
- Comments made by the User.
- When a User conducts a WorldLii Search, Casenoter automatically conducts a Casenoter Search at the same time and returns results of Casenoter Content matching the Search criteria which the User can access in the Casenoter Libraries.
