  1. A User can conduct two different types of Searches in Casenoter:-
    1. WorldLii Search
    2. Casenoter Search
  2. A WorldLii Search is a Search for Case Law from a selected WorldLii data base:-
    1. AustLII
    2. BaiLII
  3. A User conducts a WorldLii Search on the selected data base – AustLII or BaiLII – Window created within Casenoter for the purpose of conducting the WorldLii Search.
  4. A User can conduct a Casenoter Search – for Content contained on any of the following:-
    1. My Work Centre
    2. My Binders
    3. My Matters
    4. Shared with me
    5. Libraries:-
      • My Library
      • A Group Library
      • The Global Library.
  5. A Casenoter Search is a Search of all Casenoter Content – Case Extracts, Saved Searches, Case Links, WorkPads and WorkDocs.
  6. A Casenoter Search searches all of the Content Attributes:-
    1. Name of the Content
    2. Description of the Content
    3. Keywords created by the User relevant to the Content
    4. Areas of Law, Legal Topics and Keywords selected by the User from the Casenoter Topic Tree.
    5. Comments made by the User.
  7. When a User conducts a WorldLii Search, Casenoter automatically conducts a Casenoter Search at the same time and returns results of Casenoter Content matching the Search criteria which the User can access in the Casenoter Libraries.
