WorkPads are a simple text document created by the User to save Content and to make comments or notes.

Create and Design your own text document

  1. The Text in a WorkPad can be organised into Headings.
  2. A WorkPad has the following Attributes allocated to it by the User:-
    1. Name of the WorkPad
    2. Description of the WorkPad
    3. Keywords created by the User relevant to the WorkPad
    4. Areas of Law, Legal Topics and Keywords selected by the User from the Casenoter Topic Tree.
    5. Comments made by the User.
    6. Casenoter Tags assignable by the User as “Action Required” and “New Content”
    7. User-defined Tags
  3. The User can Link the WorkPad:-
    1. to a Binder
    2. to a Matter
  4. The User can Link other Content – Case Extracts, Saved Searches, Case Links, WorkDocs – to the WorkPad
  5. The User can duplicate the WorkPad if they wish to create a new WorkPad with the same Attributes.
  6. The User can download the WorkPad to a Word Format for external use.
  7. The User can add Keywords created by the User relevant to the WorkPad and add Areas of Law, Legal Topics and Keywords selected by the User from the Casenoter Topic Tree.
  8. The User can add Comments to the WorkPad.
  9. The User can assign the WorkPad as “Action Required” and “New Content”
  10. The User can add their own defined Tags to the WorkPad.
